CCIE Service Provider Lab Workbook Volume I & II
CCIE Service Provider Lab Workbook Volume I contains hands-on individually focused labs that present topics in an easy to follow, goal-oriented step-by-step approach. The labs are used to isolate topics on their own allowing candidates to see firsthand the various ways to configure each technology, and what the specific implications of a configuration are. By understanding these fundamental operations of the protocols candidates will be able to predict advanced and sometimes subtle interactions when the various technologies are configured together.
CCIE Service Provider Lab Workbook Volume II consists of 10 full-scale lab scenarios designed from the ground up based on Cisco Systems' newest specification for the CCIE Service Provider Lab Exam. The labs contained in the workbook are designed to simulate the actual CCIE Service Provider Lab Exam and at the same time illustrate the principles behind the technologies which it covers.

CCIE SP Core Knowledge Simulation - DOC file
CCIE Service Provider Core Knowledge Simulation is designed to help prepare candidates for the newly added Core Knowledge section of the Service Provider CCIE Lab Exam. This Core Knowledge section was formerly referred to as the "Open Ended Questions". This new section of the exam, added January 4, 2010, consists of four computer based, short-answer questions which candidates have 30 minutes to complete.
Unlike traditional written exams, the Core Knowledge questions are not multiple choice, but instead require a short answer to be manual typed out by the candidate. Additionally, this section must be completed before proceeding onto the traditional configuration portion of the exam; candidates may not return to the short answer questions once they have begun the configuration portion of the exam; and no additional resources such as the Cisco documentation are available during the section. Most importantly, this section is manually graded by the exam proctors as pass or fail only. Candidates who answer more than one question incorrectly in the Core Knowledge section automatically fail the entire lab exam, even if they passed the other sections of the exam!
