What is CCIE?

CCIE stands for Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert. CCIE is the highest level of Certification offered by Cisco Systems. Career as CCIE Security or CCIE Voice Engineer is best option to choose for a fresher graduate. CCIE Security Version 4 and CCIE Voice Certifications Training is offered with 100% Job guarantee with starting package of 6-10 Lacs per annum depending upon the program.

Salary of CCIE in India:

CCIE R&S Salary in India, as a fresher: 4-5 Lacs per annum.

CCIE Security Salary Package in India, as a fresher: 6-8 Lacs per annum.

CCIE Voice Salary Package for freshers: 8-10 Lacs per annum. 

Salary packages with 4 years of experience:

CCIE R&S: 8-15 Lacs

CCIE Security: 14-20 Lacs

CCIE Voice: 17-30 Lacs

Total number of CCIE in World:

There are around only 25000 active CCIE's available Worldwide, in which only 2800 CCIE Security engineers are available and there are only around 1200 CCIE Voice engineers available in the world.

Indian freshers are really doing well in CCIE. Passing rate/result of CCIE R&S, Security and Voice was were low before 2010. But from last two years, young Engineers of India are doing great job in CCIE Written and Lab exams, as passing rate of previous 8-10 years was around 10%, but in India as now resources and good institutes are available and racks are also available for practice. Passing Result of previous two years is around 60%, which is still about to increase in coming months.

CCIE passing rate of fresher Engineers in India is higher than Experienced professionals.
