CCIE Security Version 4
Network Bulls has started offering CCIE Security Version 4.0 Training to all CCIE security Integrated program candidates. As per Cisco CCIE Security Version 4 exam blueprint Iron port, ISE and some other small modules are added in version 3. We will be covering CCIE Security version 4 as per Cisco exam blueprints. As CCIE Security is going to be hottest Certification in Network Security domain all over, as Cisco owns more than 70% share of Internet gear virtualy. In CCIE Security Version 4.0 Exam blueprint, dynamic changes are not there in syllabus. But still adding up Web Security, Mobile Security and VoIP Security will give additional weight to New Cisco CCIE Security Certification. Students who had enrolled in CCIE security Version 3 are offered to upgrade themselves in CCIE Security Version 4.0 without any extra cost. Students coming with their lab exam booked in Bangalore or at any other location with CCIE security Version 3, are allowed to join last batch of CCIE security Version 3, as rest of the candidates will be preparing for Version 4 exam only.
In CCIE Security Version 4 90% of the syllabus is same as it was in Version 3. Some new technologies with new devices like WSA Iron Port S series and ISE are added in new blueprint. Cisco can still make it better by adding up Ironport C series as well. As along with Web security using S series Ironport, they can also add Email Security using C Series Ironport.
ReplyDeleteIn CCIE Security Version 4.0 Blueprint, Cisco has added new ISR routers and some new softwares, which are cheaper and easily available by order. In CCIE Security V4.0 checklist, new devices like Iron Port WSA S160 or 360 are added, along with ISE 3315 devices, which are very useful as per security prospects. As i am all set for now, to go for CCIE Security Version 4 attempt near March 2013. Training of CCIE Security Version 4 will also be available near November 2012 in India. New syllabus of CCIE Security Version 4 will be more interesting if compared to Version 3.0. As Sam said, Cisco should add Email Security to it, to enhance value of this certification. Ironport or ISE devices are easily available in India, from any Cisco channel partner in India.
ReplyDeleteI also want to do CCIE Security Version 4.0 course from Network Bulls Institute Gurgaon, but i am confused between Networkers Home and Network Bulls. As both institutes are best institutes, as per feedback of some of my friends in this industry. Placement record of Network Bulls is little better than Networkers Home Bangalore, as per my friends doing CCIE from NB. But Network Bulls is in Gurgaon, as i am from Bangalore. It will be a plus point for me, if i join Networkers Home, as NH is in Bangalore only. Please someone suggest me, as i am really confused about my career.
ReplyDeleteCCIE Security Version 4.0 is most prestigious certification offered by Cisco systems. CCIE Security V4 contains all new technologies used in industry. Cisco just recently changed CCIE Security Version 4.0 syllabus and equipment, as per industry needs. As in newer Version of this certification, it contains Web security appliance and new age Firewalls, i.e. ASA 5512x series firewalls. You can download new updated syllabus and blueprints of CCIE Security Version 4.0 Written exam and Lab exam from Cisco.com. Even the list of equipments used in CCIE Security Version 4, are also updated on their website.
